Our history

One of the leading clubs in Swiss women’s basketball, BBC Troistorrents has been thrilling the Illiez valley and the Monthey district since 1985. Rooted in tradition, passion and player development, it has been a Ligue Nationale A side for several decades and aims to inspire the generations to come.

Joining the elite

In 1992, the club reached the top tier of Swiss basketball, the LNA — a decisive turning point in its history. Since then it has established itself as a major force in Swiss basketball, winning three championships and two Swiss Cups, and reaching no fewer than 21 finals on the national stage.

Today

Today BBC Troistorrents continues to shine in the LNA, firmly anchored among the country’s best teams. Working closely with BBC Monthey and Martigny Basket, the club offers its players a path towards the summits of regional and national basketball.

A regional institution

BBC Troistorrents is an institution rooted in the history and identity of the Dents du Midi region, embodying sportsmanship and conviviality. Home games are eagerly awaited highlights: they are played in Monthey for the first team, in the LNA, and in Troistorrents for the youth teams.
